New page

Standard food finding AI game.

Each bot can have a number of sensors and a number of internal states. The combination of all sensors and internal states gives it the sequence to execute which determines it's movement as well as sets any internal states.

The hive is a library of robots and a sequence in which to create them.

Hives will be randomly generated and then evolved to see what arises.

Robots can also detect and emit sound (their state will also determine the sound they make).

=Sensors=
* Obstruction
** Distance (0-7 closes obstruction)
** Directional (0-7 corresponding to 8 directions). The closes obstruction within 7 squares will register.
* Food, same as obstruction sensor
* Sound 0-7, there are only 8 'sounds' the robots state responds to sound.
