Development on this project has been on hold for quite some time, but I would like to get it moving again. The first step would be to re-deploy much of it using GhostMVC.
The next step is to build the quiz from scratch (again) this time incorporating the concept of 'done' and of spaced repetition.

I may try generating a lot of the code, I had some luck with that in dist.ribut.us. Store models as json and generate them.

===Quiz===
=== Storage ===
*First Response tracking (this will be needed for custom spaced repetition)
MariaDB - there's a lot of indexing so I think that will be easier than key/value for now.
*New Quiz
*Add 1 question to quiz
*Bulk quiz add
*View quiz for edit/add
*Edit question in quiz
*Relinquish quiz
*Curriculum Tables (1 curriculum table, 1 update to quiz table)
*Add Curriculum
*Add quiz to curriculum
*Daily Training mode
**If card backlog is not too big and quiz backlog is not 0 and last memorization > 5days ago, do memorization, else, do training.
**If memorization, load quiz off backlog and set tier
**If training, set timer
*Add reminder to homepage to register or respond to registration
*Create the homepage "Make Me Smart" button
*Add homepage reminder to add quizzes and curriculum to quiz backlog

===Journal===
* https://github.com/jinzhu/gorm
*Add entry
* https://github.com/go-xorm/xorm
*View and search entries
*Quick add
**Enable/Set hash
**disable
**Submit to quick add
*Encryption
**Set encryption code (and enable encryption)
**If encryption key is entered, confirm with pass-phrase, encode (automatically) and submit the form.
*Create a journal multi-add page that shows you the last entry and provides entries for up to the last 3 days.
*Add encryption to multi-add

===N-Back===
=== Push Notification ===
*Port over old code
Fuck, mobile is a mess.
*Re-record letters
*Swap out Flash sound with JavaScript sound (see Zombie game)
*Get save statistics working
*Show progress graph

===Finalize===
* https://pushed.co/for-users
*Daily training button
*Journal entry on front page
*Email registration reminder on front page
*Re-skin the site (maybe get some help)
**create a 'demo' page that shows all elements on the site
**Re-skin from there.
*Tutorials
*Feed-back
*Get accounts working (phone, email)

Consider changing the names of the 3 apps to reflect how they help the brain. 'Journal' => 'Tracking', 'Quiz' => 'Memorize' and 'Dual N-Back' => 'Fluid Intelligence'.
Or the [https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Push_API push api], but that's also a fucking mess.

Yet Another Rebuild

Albeit a minor one, I'm keeping most of the UI, at least for the terminal (which is currently most of the UI). The big change is that I'm going to move the backend to Go.

I may try generating a lot of the code, I had some luck with that in dist.ribut.us. Store models as json and generate them.

Storage

MariaDB - there's a lot of indexing so I think that will be easier than key/value for now.

Push Notification

Fuck, mobile is a mess.

Or the push api, but that's also a fucking mess.

Other Concerns

  • routing
  • security
    • sign-in
    • remember tokens
    • xss

Look at

or just use gorilla.
