I can use one of my arduinos as a programmer, but I'd kind of like to use the CH340G I bought. I'd like to be able to program in C, not the Arduino language.

VCC is tied to 3v3, so I'm assuming that it provides 5V and 3.3V and it's using the 3.3V to power itself.

I want to start microcontrollers with the Atmel family because there's a lot of documentation.

I can use one of my arduinos as a programmer, but I'd kind of like to use the CH340G I bought. I'd like to be able to program in C, not the Arduino language.

CH340G

  • 5v
  • VCC
  • 3v3
  • TXD
  • RXD
  • GND

VCC is tied to 3v3, so I'm assuming that it provides 5V and 3.3V and it's using the 3.3V to power itself.
