This program will sync my files over FTP. It will run as a cron job every few minutes (and most of the time, no changes should be necessary).
- Get a file by file comparison of a specific directory working that downloads or uploads based on date and filesize.
- Download all files in a single directory
- Set the last modified date when the file is downloaded to match the source (use os.utime)
- Upload all files in a single directory
- Last modified date?
- Do a date comparison and down/up load
- Recurse over sub-directories
- Create a config so that it can do multiple directories, and do them optionally (I won't want to sync everything, everywhere)
- Create a log file
- Figure out how to issue a delete command
- Log (and avoid) merge conflicts
- Create my own date parser (the current one is great, but I want something more lightweight)
