Serenity Clock

I've already got the clock parts and I have some leftover ply-wood. I want to paint the serenity symbol on a circle and hang it behind the bar.

To get the pattern right, I think I should paint the whole thing yellow, then do a heave sponge paint of red to form the outer ring, finally a few dabs of red should get the inner sploches right. Paint the black inner ring and finally the characters.
