Started tomatoes just a little late (around 4/5). Went very quickly and despite being older seeds (2011?) 34 of 42 sprouted.

May was a bit cold (and busy), so didn't move things outside until the first week of June (1-4). Tomatoes on roof, planted soybeans, carrots, rutabaga and spinach.

For the carrots, we tried using flour-paste to glue them to toilet paper strips. The first few went slow, but by the end it was pretty quick. One strip took 8 minutes, which is about 10 seconds a seed. Maybe try adding some fertilizer.
