My idea for these is to build a smallish base with wheels and a scissor lift. The tools will live in a vertical bank. I align the lift with the right tool, slide it on, then lower the lift to working height. The base has wheels so I can move it to a working position, lock the wheels (probably lift them up). It should also have two power outlets on the side.

Workshop needs a lot more organization. I need to be able to accommodate everything I have, but I also need to be able to accommodate things I don't yet have.

I need a place for all the table saw stuff

  • push sticks
  • sled
  • miter
  • guard

Get one of those tap stands setup - easy but useful.

Also, get a bunch of small boxes knocked out for screws and other assorted parts.

The miter saw is kind of the exception - I want be be able to use the base to get the miter saw in and out of it's space, when I need to cut long pieces or use it on the base when I'm making shorter cuts.

Ryobi tools

I have a bunch of these, I'd like to build a better space for them

Sanding

There's a boat load of sanding equipment now, I'd like to have one place to keep all of it. Again, keep room to expand in mind.

Sterlite Cubby

I like the small sterlite boxes, I think I should make a cubby for them in the bottom left side of the work bench, that way they don't pile up (as they currently are).
