I kind of want to build one, but it probably makes more sense to buy a cheap one. The Anet A8 is probably a good middle ground - I can buy it then upgrade it myself.
Uses
- Project boxes for electronics
- PCB Drill
- Encoder wheels
- Boxes
- scoops and measuring spoons or cube
- folding basket
- webcam cover
- sundial
- sanding block
- car trash bag holder
- drawer slide
- hinges
- Blast gate and vacuum adapters.
Ideas
MDF Box Tabs
Printed clips that can hold sheets of mdf together to form a box. This solves the problem I have that there's no good way to joint mdf.
Backpack Boxes
Make custom boxes for my backpack.
Bit Holder
Remove the bit holder that's in my tool box and make a custom one.
I could, in fact, reprint a bunch of the interior of that box.
