This document tracks a number of small exercises to prototype. The goal is not a final product but skill building.
Circuit Design
- Design a 555 circuit in KiCAD
- Layout on perf board & solder
- Layout on circuit board & etch
Motors
- Manually drive a stepper motor
- Wire up H Bridge to linear actuator (manual control)
Micro controllers
- Use the AVR chip from an Arduino (off the board)
- Use a PL2303HX chip with AVR
- Use an SPI LCD with AVR
After motor
- Drive Stepper
- Drive DC with rotary encoder
- Driver Servo motor
