The big question is how to move and mesure liquid. I believe the correct solution is to put the glass on a scale that is hooked up to and arduino. Each bottle will have a rubber stopper with two holes. One hole will allow liquid out while the other will allow in. Instead of directly puping the liquid, I will pump air into the bottle (simple aquarium pump) displacing the liquid. The piece to figure out here is how to control a large manifold of valves electronically.

I've looked at several automatic bartender projects and I would like to do my own.

This site has rubber stoppers with 2 holes. They also have solid stoppers and a cork borer.

The controls will be through a computer interface. The computer will have a drink database. The user just clicks he drink they want, the liquids are poured and the things to add are listed on the screen.
