Advanced

Smart Inserter
Will only move certain types of items. User can define up to 5. If any of the slots are left blank it will move anything. I think it goes faster than the fast inserter.
Filter Inserter
Will only move certain types of items. User can define up to 5. If all the slots are left blank it will move anything. I think it goes the same speed asthe fast inserter.

Process

For Red/Green science, 6 green science assemblers, 5 red science assemblers, and one each for yellow inserter, transport belt and iron gear. That will need 18 stone furnaces processing iron, and 8 processing copper. That will supply 14 labs.

For steam engines, 1 pump, 14 boilers, 10 engines. I like the engines in a 2x5 grid.

Going into the endgame, you want about 110 furnaces. Also, 110 steam engines. Looking for about 1.5K iron and copper (each). You need 200 electric motors, get started on that earlier. Probably 20 red circuit constructors fed by 2 wire constructors.
