I saw the Matt Mercica does this and I liked it. When ever he uses a technical reference he writes down what it was, when he used and if it worked.
- Mount FTP as File System
- 4/13/2013
- http://www.ubuntugeek.com/how-to-mount-ftp-folder-to-local-directory-in-ubuntu.html
- It worked but I ended up using "curlftpfs#adamcolt:PASSWORD@ftp.adamcolton.net /home/adam/dot5 fuse allow_other,uid=adam,gid=0 0 0" rather than the one from the article
- htaccess config
- 5/20/2013
- https://www.digitalocean.com/community/articles/how-to-use-the-htaccess-file
- wget
- 5/28/2013
- http://superuser.com/questions/389168/wget-download-all-files-but-not-preceding-folders
- sudo wget -l 20 -np -nH -r --cut-dirs 3 "ftp://user:password@host.tld/dir1/dir2/dir3"
- -l 20 sets the max depth to 20, by default it is 5, not high enough for many frameworks (such as Wordpress)
