The Entity Change model is one that I am working on for text generation. Entities are anything that would be a noun. Changes are applied to them. Both entities and changes are stored as key-value pairs. The end structure is highly functional. I believe that at some point, higher level objects will be need, perhaps narration or 'text shaders' but I'm trying to get something basic working now.

Entity Types

  • Living
    • Self-Aware
    • Animal
  • Prop
    • Clothing
    • Vehicle
  • Location
  • Relationship

The entities will form a graph with relationships forming the links. Perhaps on that basis relationships should be a first-class citizen.

Change

A change is the set of attributes that change (and what they change to) and a duration over which the change happens. The duration can be instant.
