May was a bit cold (and busy), so didn't move things outside until the first week of June (1-4). Tomatoes on roof, planted soybeans, carrots, rutabaga and spinach.
For the carrots, we tried using flour-paste to glue them to toilet paper strips. The first few went slow, but by the end it was pretty quick. One strip took 8 minutes, which is about 10 seconds a seed. Maybe try adding some fertilizer.
Just discovered that the red worm things are wireworms and probably responsible for the poor performance of carrots, rutabaga and potatoes in the past.
