Music Analysis
At some point I'd like to start arranging my own piano pieces. Of course, I should "play" to my strengths and use strong analytic tools to do this.

It looks like there are a lot of Vamp Plugins that can be used in different software.

MP3 to Fourier
The first step is going to be reading in an mp3 file and producing the fourier analysis for it.
Simplify
I can immediately simplify tone by limiting to the 88 keys.
I can further simplify by reducing the time signature.
Finally, I can set polyphonic limits. In particularly I can match hands.
Iteration
Start with something simple and add features as I need them.
