Pre-Clean

Simple process of roughly breaking down the plastic and doing a rinse with soap and water.

Grind

Break the plastic down into small pieces. Probably want a stage or two for this.

Clean

The small pieces need to be thoroughly cleaned now. Probably put in an aggressive agitator with soapy water. Then finish with clean water.

The water itself can be cycled. So the clean water from one batch becomes the soapy water for the next batch.

Sort

I really like the density sorting process. Plastic is mixed with water then separate everything that floats. Add salt to the water to change the density and it will change what floats. This should be good for everything heavier than water.

I can either use a solar still to collect the salt or just keep containers at different density levels.
