2020 Garden Log

Started tomato seeds on time in an insulated box. I was counting on the light to provide enough heat, but I don't think it did. The seeds were also kind of old and only about 75% sprouted

When I went to plant the seeds the beds were falling apart so I had to rebuild the beds. I did that with bricks this time so they should last.

Together, this meant that the plants didn't get in until mid July, they were kind of stunted and instead of the 8 per garden I had hoped for, I ended up with about 4.

Build Starter

I have some tomato seeds I'm not going to use. I should build the starter now and use those to test for next year.

End Goal

I'd really like to plant one garden with onions at the end of the year. Possibly some garlic. Mostly for research - I'm not sure I want to grow these in the long term because they are so cheap.
