Insulation Fort

Came up with this when working on the attic insulation. Get a piece of insulation (probably 1") and build a little fort out of it that fits over the dog bed. Friction fit the joints so that it can be broken down and stored.

I drew up a good design, based on quarter sheets. The back will be 1 qrt.sht, the sides will be 1/2 qrt.sheet, the roof will just short of 1 qrt.sheet. On the back, there will a triangle to support the roof. On the front, I'll make a trapezoid that joins the roof and sides for support, the sides will all be about 12" and the acute angle will be 45°.

This works out to 5 quarter sheets, which is perfect because I have one quarter sheet left. I'll also make pegs to hold everything together from the scraps I have leftover. That wasn't too hard. Make sure to label the pegs. When it's done, paint the outside, with strips of tape, I could do an easy brick pattern. Put an adjustable lighting strip inside.
