Laptop

I'm start to look at getting a new laptop. I'm thinking of heading in a different direction than my current system. I've always wanted a fairly powerful laptop, but that's less critical now as I rarely push even moderate system power and I can generally access cloud systems when I do actually need computing power.

So I'm thinking of getting a very small, portable system then adding on some peripherals.

• System 76 Galago $1173
• Second Monitor $200
• External DVD $25
• Bag $40

Thinkpad is tempting, $900 more, but lighter and larger screen.

This one is even lighter and still 14". But I'd a USB C to HDMI adapter to use a second monitor.

I really like my Thinkpad at work.
