Snow Brick Mold

This is a simple idea I've been kicking around for a couple years. A mold and press for making bricks from snow. The idea would be to shovel the driveway, dump snow into the mold, press it into dense forms, the pop it out and build a snow fort with it.

I made a simple pass of 2x4s but it didn't work very well. I think I still have it, I should try coating the inside with something smooth like silicone. There's also an issue that when it's too cold, the snow won't stick, try adding some water.

If I get the single mold working, try a grid mold so I can make a bunch in a single pass. Good for in a few years when Fletcher will like playing outside.

I want to make CEB, but getting or building a press is a challenge. This could be a good test. A snow press could handle much lower pressure, but let me test a design. Plus, one of the challenges right now is that I don't have access to usable dirt.
