Three ring circus

I want to try something like GR or I:EiP. Fast paced and chaotic. The story will be almost sit-com like; composed of many small self-contained stories, each contributing a little bit to one of the main plots.

The story will have several "main plots" but none of the stories main characters are main characters in those plots, instead they are related to all of them.

I want to intentionally write this as a hall-of-mirrors; long flash-backs, nested flash-backs. Characters holding stream of consciousness through scenery changes. Characters telling lies. Viewing events from the perspective of drunk characters.

I also want to have many small details sprinkled in lightly and subtly that add significant context. For instance, in the Political Plot, Mark knows that Charlie is a plant much earlier than any of the other characters, but doesn't reveal it. He does use it to mislead and make himself look better.

The Political Plot

In a republican primary, a bigoted idiot (sound familiar) is leading in the polls [Arthur]. The second place candidate [Bob] is a serious moderate with a good chance in the general. He secretly, and indirectly, entices a conservative talk radio pundit [Charlie] to enter the race and be even more boisterous to try and split the lead. When Arthur dies suddenly of a heart attack and a minor scandal damages Bobs numbers, Charlie rockets to the lead.

One of the main characters, Mark, is a statistician for Bob. He is dismayed because most of his analysis is focused on how to discourage people from voting. Although it's mostly hidden, he's a democrat and is trying to subtly sabotage the whole thing. He leaks the scandal that damages Bob so that republicans can't win the general.
